Connection requirements for a stable NOWATCH experience

• Pairing for the first time: Keep the watch on the charger
• Your device is charged and ready
• Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
• Android devices only
  • Turn on Location or Nearby devices
  • Confirm the pairing pop-up
• Pair via the app
• Your NOWATCH isn't already paired elsewhere
• You're using the latest app and software updates
• Give it a minute for the connection to establish

Your device is charged and worn properly

• Charge your NOWATCH to at least 45%.

• Wear the watch snugly on your wrist, positioned above the wrist bone.

Bluetooth is enabled on your phone

• Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS or Android device.

• Keep your NOWATCH and phone within Bluetooth range.

Android devices only

Turn on Location or Nearby devices (Android 12 or newer)

• How to enable it: Access your phone's Settings → Apps → NOWATCH → Permissions → Nearby devices

• If this permission is turned off, the app won’t be able to detect or connect to your Bluetooth device.

Confirm the pairing pop-up

When pairing for the first time, your Android phone will display a system pop-up in the app requesting permission to pair. Make sure to confirm it. Dismissing or ignoring it can cause unexpected behaviour during the pairing process. Learn what to do if this happens here.

Pair via the app

• Always pair your watch via the NOWATCH app, not via your phone’s Bluetooth settings.

Your NOWATCH isn't already paired elsewhere

• NOWATCH connects to only one phone or app instance at a time.

• Check your phone’s Bluetooth settings and confirm the serial number shown matches the one on the back of your NOWATCH.

• If you see an old or unmatched NOWATCH serial number, remove or forget it from your Bluetooth list.

You're using the latest app and software updates

• Update to the latest version of the NOWATCH app. Learn how to do this here.

• Make sure your phone’s operating system is up to date. Learn how to do this here.

Give it a minute for the connection to establish

• Open the app and wait up to one minute. The connection may take a few seconds to establish.
