In this article, you’ll find steps to follow if your NOWATCH isn’t pairing with your phone. You’ll learn how to check power and connection settings and review Bluetooth and software requirements.

If you’re having trouble pairing your NOWATCH with your phone, please go through the checks below.
Pairing for the first time: Keep the watch on the charger
If this is the first time you're pairing your watch with your phone, keep the watch on the charger throughout the entire pairing and setup process.
Please note that this step only applies if it's the first time you are pairing the watch with your phone.

Your device is charged and worn properly
Charge your NOWATCH to at least 45%.
Wear the watch snugly on your wrist, positioned above the wrist bone.
Bluetooth is enabled on your phone
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS or Android device.
Keep your NOWATCH and phone within Bluetooth range.
Grant the app all necessary permissions
For Android devices:
Turn on Location.
Ensure all necessary app permissions are granted in your phone’s settings.
If pairing issues continue, restart your phone after installing the app and try again.
Pair via the app
Always pair your watch via the NOWATCH app, not via your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
Your NOWATCH isn't already paired elsewhere
NOWATCH connects to only one phone or app instance at a time.
Check your phone’s Bluetooth settings and confirm the serial number shown matches the one on the back of your NOWATCH.
If you see an old or unmatched NOWATCH serial number, remove or forget it from your Bluetooth list.

You're using the latest app and software updates
Update to the latest version of the NOWATCH app. Learn how to do this here.

Give it a minute for the connection to establish
- Open the app and wait up to one minute. The connection may take a few seconds to establish.
