In this article, you’ll find an explanation of the Check-in feature, why it's important, and how to log your entries. You will also learn how your NOWATCH vibrations work, and how to set up Check-in reminders on your device.
What the Check-in feature does
The Check-in feature helps you tune into how you’re feeling by prompting short moments to note your emotional and stress state throughout the day.
By noting how you feel, you can begin to see patterns and better understand what may influence your emotions or stress responses.
Regular check-ins can also help you recognize potential stressors and observe changes in your well-being over time.
How to log a Check-in
Via the Now tab
Go to the NOW tab.
Tap the Check-in button in the Reactivity Monitor overview section.
-
Adjust the sliders to reflect how you feel on two scales:
From Very calm to Very stressed
From Very negative to Very positive
Select a related feeling from the suggestions at the top.
5. Tap Add details to include extra context. If enabled, these tags help personalize your Daily Reflections.
6. Review your entry and tap Done.

Check-in vibrations: Random and Prolonged Stress
You can set up vibrations on your watch that remind you to log a Check-in. These gentle cues help you make check-ins part of your daily routine.
-
Prolonged Stress vibrations
You will feel these vibrations when you’ve been under sustained stress for 5 minutes or longer. They help you notice the moment and reconnect with how your body feels.
-
Random vibrations
These are gentle reminders throughout the day to log a Check-in and reflect on how you’re feeling, regardless of your emotional or stress state.
You can enable one or both vibration types, depending on your preference.
How to set up Check-in vibrations
Go to the NOW screen.
Tap Vibrations on the right side of the Reactivity Monitor overview section.
Choose whether to enable or disable:
Prolonged stress vibrations: Trigger after a set duration of stress (5 to 20 minutes of stress).
-
Random vibrations: Sent between 9:00 and 18:00. You select the frequency, starting at 3 times a day and up to 9 times a day.
Important notes
Prolonged Stress vibrations become available once your Reactivity Monitor is active and has gathered enough data.
Keep the app open in the background to receive a Check-in notification on your phone when pressing the crown once.
Bluetooth must remain on to receive Check-in vibrations.
