In this article, you’ll learn how to improve your battery performance and why certain habits can make a difference.
To help extend battery life, we recommend the following best practices.
Keep the app open, either in the foreground or running in the background, instead of force-closing it.
Repeatedly closing and reopening the app triggers new connection and synchronization processes between the app and the device, which consume more energy than maintaining an existing connection.
When the app remains open in the background, the connection stays more stable and efficient, allowing data to sync gradually rather than all at once. This not only reduces unnecessary battery drain on both the watch and your phone but also helps prevent connection interruptions and data gaps.
For the best experience, we suggest avoiding force-closing the app unless it’s unresponsive or you’re troubleshooting a specific issue.
Ensure your app and firmware are up to date
Make sure both the device firmware and the app are updated to the latest versions, as newer releases often include battery and performance optimizations, bug fixes, and improvements to connection stability.
Keeping everything up to date helps ensure your device runs as efficiently as possible and can prevent issues that may lead to unnecessary battery drain.
