In this article, you’ll learn how long your NOWATCH battery typically lasts, why it may drain faster than expected, and what you can do to avoid it.
Battery life overview
The NOWATCH battery typically lasts 3 to 5 days, depending on how you use your device. If your battery lasts less than 3 days, this does not necessarily mean there is a problem with your watch.
Why your battery may drain faster
Raw Data Collection is enabled
When Raw Data Collection is active, your watch uses more power.
To check this:
Open the Now tab.
Tap the Settings icon (top left).
Scroll to Data Export and select Raw Data.
If any toggles are enabled, tap Stop collecting.
Make sure Auto-collect during sessions is turned off.
An activity was recorded by accident
Pressing the crown twice can start an activity without noticing, which may drain the battery faster.
To check and fix this:
Go to the Timeline.
Look for an unusually long activity icon at the top of a chart.
Tap the activity and delete it.
Other possible causes
In some cases, faster battery drain may be related to a bug after a recent firmware update. If this happens, please contact our Customer Care team through the app so we can help investigate.
