1. Wear your NOWATCH correctly
How you wear your NOWATCH directly affects data quality.
Make sure the crown points to 8 o’clock.
Wear the watch snugly on your wrist, above your wrist bone.
-
Avoid wearing it too loose or too tight.
During physical activity: Keep the watch in direct contact with your skin to ensure continuous tracking.
In water: If your NOWATCH is fully submerged, data may not be collected during that time.
2. Make sure your device is properly connected
Check both the app and your phone’s Bluetooth settings.
In the app:
A green circle at the top of the Now screen confirms your watch is connected.
Tap the watch-shaped icon at the top right of the Now screen to open the Device Details screen. Your status should show as Connected.
In Bluetooth settings:
Your NOWATCH serial number should be listed.
An information (i) icon should appear next to it.
3. Allow time for syncing
When you open the app, keep the Now tab open for at least one minute.
A syncing bar will appear at the top of the screen. Wait until it completes.
4. Keep the app and firmware up to date
Always use the latest version of:
Updates improve performance, add new features, and fix known issues.
5. Keep the app active for proper syncing
The app syncs best when it is open or running in the background.
Your NOWATCH device can store data for up to 24 hours.
If the app is not opened during that time, unsynced data may be overwritten.
For best results, open the app at least once a day.
6. Check that the sensors are active
When you wear your NOWATCH:
The green LED sensors on the back of your NOWATCH should light up when the device is in contact with your skin. Make sure you’re wearing the watch on your wrist to confirm they’re active.
The green LED light confirms the sensors are working and collecting data. If the lights are not visible, sensor tracking may not be active.
7. Reboot your NOWATCH if data does not update
If your data still does not sync after following the previous steps:
Fully close the NOWATCH app.
Reboot your NOWATCH by pressing and holding the crown for 12 seconds while wearing it on your wrist. You’ll feel a vibration once the reboot is complete.
Reopen the app and check that your NOWATCH is connected and that your data is syncing.
