In this article, you'll learn how long the NOWATCH battery is designed to last and what to expect when it reaches the end of its lifecycle.
Battery lifespan
The NOWATCH battery is designed to last up to 10 years under typical usage conditions. Since the battery is integrated into the device, it's built to support the full lifecycle of your NOWATCH — no replacements needed.
A quick note: the 10-year lifespan refers to the battery's long-term durability, not how often you charge it. Here's how frequently each model needs charging:
- NOWATCH X: every 3 days
- NOWATCH B (Small): every 4 days
- NOWATCH B (Large): every 6–7 days

End-of-life support
Since the battery is non-replaceable, we are currently evaluating the most effective ways to assist customers once the battery reaches the end of its lifecycle. Although a definitive policy has not yet been established, we are actively investigating various options, including upgrades and alternative solutions, to support our long-term users.
We will provide further information once our plans have been finalised. If you have questions in the meantime, please reach out to Customer Care.
