Why your watch may still not connect after a reset
Usually, there are two main reasons why your device may still not connect after a factory reset:
The reset did not complete successfully (this is the most common cause).
The watch may have a hardware issue.
Before assuming the device is defective, please make sure the reset was performed correctly by reviewing the checks below.
Confirm that the reset was completed correctly
Before resetting:
Fully close the NOWATCH app.
Remove (“Forget”) your NOWATCH serial number from your phone’s Bluetooth settings. Make sure it no longer appears as a connected device.
During the reset:
Place your NOWATCH on the charger.
Press and hold the crown for at least 30 seconds.
You should feel the vibration pattern.
After the final vibration, keep holding for an additional 15 seconds to ensure the full sequence completes.
After the reset:
Try pairing your watch only through the app: Now tab → Device Details (watch icon at the top right) → Connect / Pair.
Do not pair from the Bluetooth settings.
If any of these steps were missed, the reset may not have completed, and the device will not connect properly.
Try the reset again
If you’re unsure whether the reset succeeded, please repeat the process one or two more times. This often resolves the issue.
