Low Battery Notifications let you know when your NOWATCH battery is running low, so you can charge it in time and avoid missing data.
Your NOWATCH must be connected to the app for the battery level to be displayed, as the device reports its battery status directly to the app.

Where to check your battery level

You can view your battery level in two places:

Now tab
- Open the app and go to the Now tab.
- In the top right corner, you’ll see a watch icon with a percentage. This is your current battery level.

- Tap the watch-shaped icon in the top right corner of the Now tab.
- Your battery level appears inside the watch icon at the top of the screen.
- Below it, you can also confirm whether your device is connected.

How to enable or disable low battery notifications

Open the app and go to the Now tab.
Tap Settings (gear icon) in the top left.
Toggle Low battery notification on or off.

When the low battery notification is triggered

You’ll receive a low battery notification when all of the following conditions are met:

Low battery notifications are enabled in the app.
Your battery level drops between 0% and 25%.
The NOWATCH app is open or running in the background.
Notification and Nearby Devices permissions are enabled in your phone’s system settings.

Good-to-know

If you own a NOWATCH B and notice that both watch hands have moved to the 6:30 position, this indicates that the battery is fully drained.
For NOWATCH X and NOWATCH B, if the sensors on the back of the watch do not light up while you’re wearing it, this also indicates that the battery is fully drained.

How to enable notification permissions

On iOS devices

Open your phone’s Settings app.
Tap Notifications.
Find and tap NOWATCH.
Enable Allow Notifications and customize how you’d like to receive them.

On Android devices

Open your phone’s Settings app.
Tap Apps.
Find and tap NOWATCH (tap See all apps if needed).
Tap Permissions.
Review permissions and set them to Allow where required.
