- Quick fixes when running into issues
1. Ensure a proper fit
For the most accurate data, your NOWATCH should fit snugly on your wrist with the crown pointing toward the 8 o’clock position, and it should sit just below your wrist bone. This ensures the sensors maintain good contact with your skin for the best possible insights.
If you wear it at night, ensure it fits correctly and isn’t too loose to support accurate sleep tracking.
To keep your skin comfortable, avoid irritation — especially after exercising — and ensure the sensors maintain good contact without interference, make sure to regularly clean both the watch and the straps.

2. Charge your NOWATCH regularly
For optimal performance, we recommend charging your NOWATCH every 3 days and avoiding letting the battery drop below 30% too often.
Before going to bed, make sure your NOWATCH has at least 40% battery to prevent it from running out overnight and losing sleep data.
Keeping your watch sufficiently charged ensures consistent data tracking and helps maintain long-term device health.

3. Keep your app and firmware updated

This guarantees your device and app benefit from the latest features, improvements, and important bug fixes.

4. Ensure daily data syncing
Open the NOWATCH app at least once a day to ensure your data syncs every 24 hours.
The device can store up to 24 hours of data before needing to synchronize; if the app isn’t opened within that timeframe, older data may be overwritten by newer data before it can be transferred. Regular daily syncing helps you keep a complete and accurate record of your metrics.
When you open the app, you should see a syncing bar at the top of the NOW tab — allow up to one minute for the sync to complete.
5. Keep the app open in the background
To improve syncing times, prevent data gaps, and conserve battery life, we strongly recommend keeping the app open in the background rather than force-closing it.
If the app is closed or swiped away, the syncing process must restart from the beginning, which can cause delays. Keeping the app open in the background allows syncing to continue uninterrupted, ensuring your data updates faster and more reliably.
Repeatedly closing and reopening the app initiates additional connection processes that consume more energy than simply leaving it running in the background.
6. Make sure the watch icon in the Now tab displays a green circle (Connected status)
The same timing as data syncing applies to connectivity: it may take up to one minute for your watch and app to fully connect. Please allow a moment for the connection to establish without closing the app or starting troubleshooting prematurely.
When you're connected, you should see a green circle at the top right corner of the Now tab. You can always tap the watch-shaped icon to check that the status shows "Connected" under the Device Details screen.
5. Quick fixes when running into issues
If you’re experiencing issues with your NOWATCH after following the recommendations above, try these quick workarounds — they’re the most common first steps in troubleshooting.
