What is watch hand alignment
Watch hand alignment ensures that the time shown on your NOWATCH B matches the time on your phone. This is done by calibrating the watch hands through the app.
Because NOWATCH B uses physical hands, it needs to learn its reference position (12:00) before it can display the correct time. Calibration sets this starting point so the watch can stay in sync with your phone.
How to align the watch hands
When you pair your NOWATCH for the first time, the app will guide you through setting the correct time.
Over time, the watch hands may drift slightly (by a few minutes per month), which is normal. You may also notice some drift after intense physical activity. If this happens, you’ll need to recalibrate the watch hands or set the time again.
To set the time, check the video below. If you prefer written step-by-step instructions, see below.
Step-by-step instructions to set the time
Go to the Now tab
Tap the watch-shaped icon (Device Details)
Tap Set the Time
-
On the Set the Time screen:
-
Set the hour hand: Rotate the dial until the hour hand points to 12:00.
Tip: Watch the hands as you rotate the dial to see them move in real time. Tap the + or – icons to adjust more precisely.
-
Set the minute hand: Rotate the dial until the minute hand points to 12:00.
-
That’s it. Your watch hands should now align with your phone’s current time.
