In this article, you’ll learn how to fix slow or stuck syncing and get your NOWATCH data updating smoothly again.
If the sync bar takes longer than 2 minutes, doesn’t move, or appears to be stuck, try the steps below.
Step 1: Restart the app
Fully close the NOWATCH app
Reopen it
Check if the sync bar appears
Wait up to 2 minutes for syncing to complete
Step 2: Reboot your watch
If syncing is still not progressing:
Fully close the app
While wearing your watch, press and hold the crown for 15 seconds
Release when you feel a long vibration (this confirms the reboot)
Reopen the app and wait for the sync bar to appear and complete
Good-to-know
Syncing may take longer if the app hasn’t been opened for a while
Large data transfers (for example, after sleep) can increase sync time
Tips
Keep both the app and firmware up to date to benefit from the latest improvements and fixes.
Allow the app to run in the background, even overnight, to support faster and more reliable data syncing.
