Fixing common firmware update issues
If you experience issues while installing a firmware update—such as a frozen screen, stalled installation, or update failure—follow these steps:
Disconnect your NOWATCH from the charger
Fully close the NOWATCH app
Reboot your device
Press and hold the crown for about 15 seconds, until you feel a vibration.
Reopen the app
Your NOWATCH should reconnect automatically.
Check your firmware version
Tap the watch-shaped icon (Device Details).
If the update is installed successfully, the Firmware Update button will be greyed out.
If the update did not install, the button will be active.
If the update did not install
Place your NOWATCH on the charger and follow the in-app instructions to try installing the update again.
