Fixing common firmware update issues

If you experience issues while installing a firmware update—such as a frozen screen, stalled installation, or update failure—follow these steps:

  1. Disconnect your NOWATCH from the charger

  2. Fully close the NOWATCH app

  3. Reboot your device

    • Press and hold the crown for about 15 seconds, until you feel a vibration.

  4. Reopen the app

    • Your NOWATCH should reconnect automatically.

  5. Check your firmware version

    • Tap the watch-shaped icon (Device Details).

    • If the update is installed successfully, the Firmware Update button will be greyed out.

    • If the update did not install, the button will be active.

  6. If the update did not install

    • Place your NOWATCH on the charger and follow the in-app instructions to try installing the update again.
