How to Switch Between NOWATCH X & B
Note: At the moment, it is possible to switch between watches, but the process is not yet quick or seamless.
Each time you switch, your watch must be factory reset before pairing it again with the app on your phone. This means there may be data gaps in the app during the switching process.
Because of this, we do not recommend frequent switching between devices.
However, providing a seamless switch between devices and improving the experience is on our roadmap.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Switch Watches
Factory reset your current watch:
Place your NOWATCH on the charger.
Press and hold the NOWATCH crown. The device will begin to vibrate. Continue holding until the vibration pattern completes—you'll feel three distinct sets of vibrations, each set longer than the last.
Remove the NOWATCH from the charger.
Remove the device from Bluetooth:
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and remove the current watch.
Prepare your new device:
Make sure the new watch is charged and nearby.
Ensure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone.
Pair the new device:
Open the Device Details screen in the app.
Tap Pair New Device, and the app will automatically find your new watch. Just ensure the serial number found on the app matches the one on the back of your NOWATCH.
