How to switch between different NOWATCH devices
Note: At the moment, it is possible to switch between watches, but the process is not yet quick or seamless.
Each time you switch, your watch must be factory reset before pairing it again with the app on your phone. This means there may be data gaps in the app during the switching process.
Because of this, we do not recommend frequent switching between devices.
However, providing a seamless switch between devices and improving the experience is on our roadmap.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Switch Watches
Remove the previous NOWATCH device from Bluetooth:
Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and remove the current watch. Learn how to do this here.
Factory reset your current watch:
Close the app completely.
Place your NOWATCH on the charger.
Press and hold the NOWATCH crown. You will feel one long vibration followed by two very short vibrations. Keep pressing and wait for this same pattern to occur a second time.
Remove the NOWATCH from the charger.
Prepare your new device:
Make sure the new watch is charged and nearby.
Ensure Bluetooth is turned on on your phone.
Pair the new device:
Open the Device Details screen in the app.
Tap Pair New Device, and the app will automatically find your new watch. Just ensure the serial number found on the app matches the one on the back of your new NOWATCH.
