Troubleshooting Steps to Fix Sensor Issues

If you're experiencing issues with the green sensor lights not turning on when trying to sync your NOWATCH with the app, please follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.

1. Check Battery Levels

Often, the sensor lights may not turn on due to an inaccurate battery level indication. Make sure your NOWATCH is fully charged or at least above 50%. If the battery drops below this level, the sensors may remain off, especially after a reset.

2. Ensure Your Firmware and App Are Updated

It's important to keep both your NOWATCH firmware and app up to date. The latest firmware version is 2024.07.30.1, which includes fixes for sensor-related issues. Check for updates in the app and install any that are available.

3. Follow these two troubleshooting steps

If the issue persists, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Reboot your NOWATCH

    • Before rebooting, ensure the device is charged and wear it on your wrist.

    • Close the app.

    • Press and hold the crown for about 15 seconds until the device vibrates.

    • Reopen the app and wait a few minutes.

  2. Use the charger to activate your NOWATCH sensors

    • Place your NOWATCH on the charger for 30 seconds. 

    • After removing it from the charger, the sensors should briefly light up, even without skin contact.

Additional Troubleshooting Steps

If the sensors still don’t turn on, try the following steps in this exact order:

  1. After ensuring your NOWATCH is charged to 100%, completely close the NOWATCH app on your phone.

  2. Remove your NOWATCH from your phone’s Bluetooth settings.

  3. Place your NOWATCH on the charger.

  4. Press and hold the crown until the device vibrates. Continue holding it until the vibration pattern ends.

  5. Remove your NOWATCH from the charger.

  6. Press the crown once; the device should vibrate.

  7. Pair your NOWATCH via the app, not directly from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
