Data Storage
NOWATCH can store approximately 24 hours of data on the device itself if it is not connected to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth. This ensures that you do not lose any collected data when the device cannot synchronize with the app for a while.
Uninterrupted recording: Even when your phone or tablet is out of Bluetooth range or when Bluetooth is switched off, NOWATCH will continue to record and store data.
Automatic synchronization: Once your device reconnects, the stored data will be synchronized and become available in the app as usual.
Storage limit: Please note that the storage limit is about 24 hours. Older data will be overwritten with the latest data if it takes too long before your NOWATCH connects with the app.
Data Privacy
We take data privacy seriously: We will never sell or distribute your data. You own it, no one else!
Local storage: Data collected from the sensors is sent to your phone where it’s permanently stored.
Controlled access: We do not have access to your data unless you agree to share it with us. If you choose to share, the data will also be stored on our secure servers, hosted on AWS in the EU-central-1 region (Frankfurt).
Anonymized data: Your data is associated with a randomized code, or universal unique identifier (UUID), known only to you. This ensures your data is completely anonymized and cannot be traced back to you.
Right to delete: You always have the right to request the deletion of your data. To do so, simply provide us with your UUID.
State-of-the-art security: We use advanced encryption and security measures to protect your data. We do not share your data with third parties. Any data shared with us is used solely to improve our algorithms and enhance the app experience.
