What is a factory reset?
A factory reset fully restarts your NOWATCH and removes all stored data on the device. It clears previous connections and settings so you can set up the watch as if it were new.
This can help fix pairing or connection issues, but any data that was stored on the watch and wasn’t synced to the app before the reset will be permanently lost.
How to perform a factory reset
- Open the NOWATCH app.
- Tap Device Details.
- Tap Unpair this watch.
- Fully close the NOWATCH app.
- Forget the NOWATCH serial number from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- To pair with your current or new phone: Open the NOWATCH app → Device Details → Pair.
Important: If you're pairing your watch with a new phone and skip the Unpair this watch step on the previous phone, a conflict will occur during the connection process, and the watch will not pair successfully.
If you've changed phones and no longer have access to your previous device, you can perform a factory reset manually.
Only use the manual factory reset method if you no longer have access to the phone previously paired with your NOWATCH. If you still have access to that phone, follow the standard factory reset steps above.

Fallback: Manual factory reset (no access to old phone)
1. Ensure your NOWATCH is charged to at least 40%.
2. Completely close the NOWATCH app.
3. Place your NOWATCH on the charger.
4. Press and hold the NOWATCH crown. You will feel a vibration pattern. Keep pressing the crown and count internally to 15 seconds after the final vibration before releasing it, to ensure no further vibrations occur.
Note: It’s important to experience the complete vibration pattern, otherwise, the reset will not be completed successfully.
