How your data is stored
Local storage: Data collected by your NOWATCH sensors is synced to the app and stored locally on your phone.
Controlled access: We do not have access to your data unless you explicitly choose to share it with us. If data sharing is enabled, your information is securely stored on our servers, hosted on AWS in the EU-central-1 (Frankfurt) region. You can switch Data Sharing on or off at any time in the app.
Anonymization and protection
We take your privacy seriously. Your data belongs only to you. We never sell, distribute, or share your personal data with third parties.
Anonymized data: Your data is linked to a randomized identifier (UUID) known only to you. This ensures your information is fully anonymized and cannot be traced back to your identity.
State-of-the-art security: We use modern encryption and robust security measures to protect your data at all times. Any data you choose to share with us is used exclusively to improve our algorithms and enhance your app experience.
Your rights
Right to delete: You have full control over your data and can request its deletion at any time.
